The SIL WCAP-EXT is a highly secure 802.11ac Dual-Band outdoor AP with built in 360° Omni antenna. Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac/n/a/g/b compliant and operating on 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual band frequency with speeds up to 1167Mbps. The SIL WCAP-EXT has 6dBi Dual band omni antennas and can transmit up to 8 SSID per radio. Wireless Security includes WEP, WPA-PSK,WPA Enterprise, (WPA/WPA2,TKIP/AES) The AP’s can be wall (via additional Mounting Bracket) or pole mounted and can handle 150+ concurrent clients with range of 250m. The SIL WCAP-EXT is designed to cover large outdoor areas needing good Wi-Fi coverage, installed singularly on a single column or each corner of a building the system gives hugely extended range and coverage, device dependent. These outdoor APs can be interconnected via one of our fibre switches, network cables or a wireless link to enable a reliable and fliud user experience when connected. Works with the SIL-WAC SilverCloud AP Controller or as a stand alone AP.
