The SilverNet SIL 2201-2T is a compact Fast Ethernet media converter extending RJ45 to multi-mode ST fibre over distances up to 2km.
The SilverNet SIL 2201-2T is part of the Series 2 Mini Fibre Media Converter range, converting a single 10/100Base-TX copper port to a 100Base-FX multi-mode ST fibre link over distances of up to 2km. Its compact metal housing, passive cooling, and DIP-switch controlled Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) make it a straightforward way to extend Ethernet over fibre where ST connectors are the site standard. Desktop or wall-mount installation and a 1-year warranty are included.
