The SilverNet SIL 2201-AA is a compact Fast Ethernet media converter extending RJ45 to multi-mode fibre over distances up to 2km.
The SilverNet SIL 2201-AA is part of the Series 2 Mini Fibre Media Converter range, converting a single 10/100Base-TX copper port to a 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fibre link over distances of up to 2km. Its compact metal housing, passive cooling, and DIP-switch controlled Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) make it a cost-effective way to extend Ethernet over fibre in confined wiring closets or edge installations. Desktop or wall-mount installation and a 1-year warranty are included.
