The SilverNet SIL 2222 is a compact 10 Gigabit media converter extending a 10GBase-T copper port to an SFP+ fibre link.
The SilverNet SIL 2222 is part of the Series 2 Mini Fibre Media Converter range, converting a 10GBase-T copper port (auto-negotiating down to 100Mbit/s) to a 10 Gigabit SFP+ fibre port, with distance determined by the SFP+ module fitted, up to 120km with a suitable single-mode transceiver. Its compact metal housing, passive cooling, and DIP-switch controlled Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) suit confined wiring closets and edge installations. Desktop or wall-mount installation and a 1-year warranty are included.
