The VCA Technology IPAi98A05-Q56 is a Dual Thermal AI IP Camera.
Thermal imaging sets the IPAi98A05-Q56 apart from the rest of the IPAi range: it detects heat rather than reflected light, so it keeps working in total darkness, smoke, or glare conditions that would blind a conventional IR camera, and the dual-sensor design pairs a thermal channel with a visual one for context.
The same onboard analytics engine as the rest of the range runs here too: object detection and intrusion alerts are the most relevant for the perimeter and critical-asset monitoring this camera is usually specified for, with a licensed Deep Learning tracker available for more demanding tracking. It’s powered over a single PoE cable and needs no separate server to run its analytics.
