The SIL-BASE Gen 5 is a powerful, flexible wireless access point designed for high-performance Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) networks. Delivering full-duplex throughput of up to 2.5 Gbps of usable bandwidth in each direction, it provides exceptional capacity for wide-area distribution networks, business campuses, industrial sites, CCTV backbones, and ISP-grade deployments. Operating across a broad 5.125-6.425 GHz frequency range, the SIL-BASE offers excellent channel flexibility and resilience in both low-noise and high-density environments. As the central access point in a multipoint system, it is designed to be paired with Omni or Sector antennas to deliver either 360-degree coverage or focused long-range sectorised distribution. Connectivity is comprehensive and installer-friendly, featuring 1 × RJ45, 1 × SFP+, and 1 × DC input (9-56 V), ensuring seamless integration into a wide range of network and power infrastructures. The SIL-BASE also includes AES+ 256 SAE encryption, WEB-based management, and PoE, making installation secure, efficient, and straightforward. Advanced radio features such as TDMA, a built-in spectrum analyser, and an integrated throughput tester ensure stable, predictable performance even in busy multipoint environments. When paired with SIL-LITE or SIL-MICRO client radios, the SIL-BASE forms the core of a robust, scalable, and high-capacity PRO G5 multipoint system. The PRO BASE Gen 5 is designed to work seamlessly with SilverNet’s range of high-performance external antennas. Using standard antenna cables, the unit can be paired with: - Dish antennas for ultra-long-range, high-capacity Point-to-Point links - Grid antennas for long-distance rural or industrial connectivity - Sector antennas for wide-area Point-to-Multipoint coverage - Omni antennas for 360-degree access in campus, urban, or public-space deployments This flexibility allows the SIL-BASE Gen 5 to be tailored precisely to the environment, from long-range backhaul links to multi-client distribution networks. As part of the SilverNet PRO G5 Range, the SIL-BASE is engineered to replace costly leased lines with a reliable, high-performance wireless alternative. When used with SilverView, SilverNet’s FREE network monitoring and management software, the SIL-BASE becomes a powerful, easy-to-manage access point that simplifies deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance. The SIL-BASE Gen 5 includes a 2-year parts and labour warranty, extendable to 5 years for enhanced long-term protection.
