VCA Technology ASP501: an AI hardware appliance running VCAserver for up to 22 channels of deep-learning video analytics.
Unlike the ABP series, the ASP501 doesn’t bundle a recorder; it runs VCAserver on its own, pulling video in over RTSP from whatever cameras or VMS are already on site, so existing CCTV can gain VCA’s deep-learning analytics without being replaced. At up to 22 channels, it suits a single larger site, such as a big-box retail store or a small campus, where the analytics workload needs dedicated hardware but a full enterprise-scale appliance would be more than the site needs. The same tracker, rules and application set is available as elsewhere in the range, including Forensic Search and VCA’s retail packages, alongside health-and-safety and security-focused detection rules.
