80GHz 5Gbps up to 2km
The SIL FDD 805G-30-PCP is an all-outdoor, full IP, next-generation millimetre wave radio link operating in the 71-76/81-86GHz E-Band.
The SIL FDD 805G-30-PCP doubles throughput to 5Gbps over links up to 2km, using both the 71-76GHz and 81-86GHz halves of the E-Band together rather than one, on a 30cm antenna. It comes with two 2.5Gbps Fibre ports as standard, aimed at carrier-class mobile backhaul, enterprise and ISP links in urban settings. It runs on the same synchronisation and Ethernet/IP feature set as the rest of the SilverNet 80GHz Backhaul range, and pairs with the free SilverView network monitoring software.
Note: the 73.375 to 75.875 GHz and 83.375 to 85.875 GHz band is available in the UK under a light licensed process for point to point fixed wireless applications. The fee for the licence is currently £50, which includes the charge for registration of the first link for the first year of the licence. Any further links registered by the licensee will be charged at £50 per link per year.
